NEW GUIDELINES FOR CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION

ABSTRACT


The aim of this article is to introduce health care provider with new recommendations of cardiopulmonal and cerebral resuscitation – CPCR 2010. which every five years update according to relevant international knowledge, experience and guidelines of European Resuscitation Council. Sudden cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in European countries. Early recognition and properly applied treatment of CPR can produce higher rates of survival. In this review are presented new CPR guedelines related to proper airway access, arteficial breathing and circulation as well as drug using. We also described news in deffibrilation applying, expecially automatic external deffibrilators which application is not expanded in our conditions. At the end, we introduce using of control temperature (TTM) that is thought to suppress many of the chemical reactions associated with reperfusion injury.
